Corinth Canal S.A.: Changes to the Company’s Board of Directors – New Chairman and new Non-Executive Member
Growthfund announces the appointment of two new Non-Executive Members to the Board of Directors of the Corinth Canal Company S.A. (AEDIK). Vassilios Nanopoulos has been appointed as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of AEDIK, and Eleftheria Pateraki assumes the role of Independent Non-Executive Member.
Mr. Nanopoulos, who succeeds outgoing Chairman, Pantelis Pantelidis, brings a long and successful career in business and local government, with proven experience in strategic management, planning, and leadership. Eleftheria Pateraki is expected to contribute to strengthening the company’s corporate governance oversight and independence, drawing on her professional experience in the real estate sector.

Short biographies of the new Board members of AEDIK
Vassilios Nanopoulos, Chairman of the Board, Non-Executive Member
Vassilios Nanopoulos holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Athens and studied at the Athens University of Economics and Business. He also holds a Diploma in Business Administration from Henley Management College (UK) and an MBA from Brunel University (UK). From 1982 to 2017, he held senior management positions at the multinational company Adams (later Warner-Lambert, Pfizer, Kraft, Cadbury, Mondelēz International), overseeing operations in Greece, the Middle East, and North Africa. Throughout his career, he actively participated in strategic planning, business project implementation, international product standardization, and factory management. He served as Mayor of Corinth from 2019 to 2023 and currently leads the main opposition in the Municipality. He was continuously elected to the Board of the Corinth Chamber of Commerce from 1993 to 2017, serving as its President from 2006 to 2017. Additionally, from 2011 to 2014, he was President of the Managing Authority of European Programs for the Peloponnese, Western Greece, Epirus, and the Ionian Islands, and subsequently Vice President of the National Chamber Body for managing EU programs under the Ministry of Development (E.F.E.P.A.E.). His extensive and multifaceted experience is expected to significantly enhance the company’s strategic direction and development prospects.
Eleftheria Pateraki, Independent Non-Executive Member
Eleftheria Pateraki has over 35 years of experience in property development and asset management both in Greece and internationally. Since 2020, she has served as Chief Real Estate Services Officer at doValue, where she oversees the management of pre-REO and REO properties linked to portfolios managed by doValue in Greece, as well as third-party REO portfolios. Prior to joining doValue, she worked at Zeus Capital Management as CIO, responsible for new investments and the management of the company’s real estate portfolio across several European countries. She has also held development roles at Lamda Development Group, J&P Development, and Turner Construction Corporation (USA). Ms. Pateraki has extensive experience in real estate management, having participated in some of the largest and most well-known development and investment projects in the commercial, residential, industrial, tourism, and marina sectors in Greece, the USA, the UAE, and Southeast and Central Eastern Europe. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York and an MS in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
