Antonis Kerastaris appointed CEO of Transport for Athens – OASA Group

Athens, December 22, 2025

Growthfund announces that Mr. Antonis Kerastaris is assuming the position of Chief Executive Officer of Transport for Athens – OASA Group. With many years of experience in senior executive roles in both international and Greek companies, and a proven track record in leading large-scale transformations, Mr. Kerastaris brings the expertise required for the further strengthening and development of the Group. He began his career at Procter & Gamble Hellas in 1996 and subsequently held key management positions in major international and Greek organizations, including Mercedes-Benz Hellas, Hilton Athens Hotel, Porto Carras S.A., Gregory’s S.A. and Allied Domecq Hellas S.A. In 2005, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of COSMOTE Romanian Mobile Telecommunications S.A. In 2008, he joined Hellas Online (HOL) as CFO and subsequently served as CEO (2009–2014), leading the company through a period of strong growth and profitability. In 2014, he assumed the role of Group CFO and later CEO of Intralot S.A. (2014–2019). From 2020, he joined the Brink’s Group, initially as Chairman & Managing Director of Brink’s Hellas, and since 2025 he has held the position of South Europe Market Unit Leader at Brink’s Inc.

The Management of Growthfund extends its sincere thanks to the outgoing CEO of OASA Group, Mr. Giorgos Spiliopoulos, upon the completion of his three-year term, for his substantial contribution to the transformation of the Group. During his tenure, the foundations were laid for the development of operational synergies among OASA, STASY and OSY, as well as for the acceleration of the modernization of urban transport services. Key initiatives included the renewal of the vehicle fleet, the full rollout of contactless payments through Tap ’n Pay, the enhancement of digital services via the ATH.ENA card, and the implementation of interventions that significantly improved passenger experience. At the same time, the study and design of the Attica Strategic Transport Plan were launched, redefining the capital’s transport model with a strong focus on digitalization and passenger-centric services.

The appointment of Antonis Kerastaris comes at a pivotal moment, as Transport for Athens is undergoing an extensive programme of improvements and transformation, implemented in close cooperation with the Ministry of Transport. The Management of Growthfund welcomes Mr. Kerastaris to his new role as CEO of OASA Group, underlining that his experience and expertise will further strengthen the Group’s strategic direction and role, to the benefit of citizens.
