New Chairman of the Board of Directors and Non-executive Board Members of EL.TA.

Growthfund’s General Assembly met on 21/03 to appoint the new members of the Board of Directors of EL.TA.. The new members of the Board of Directors are Mr. D. Benardout, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Non-Executive Member, Mrs. H. Athanassiou, Non-executive Member and Mr. H. Brilakis, Non-Executive Member and Chairman of the Audit Committee, and have a three-year (3) term effective from 24/03.

Including the new members, the updated composition of the Board of Directors of EL.TA. is as follows:

• H. Brilakis, Non-Executive Member, Chairman of the Audit Committee
• I. Moros, Non-Executive Member, Employees’ Representative

The new Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Benardout, is an executive with extensive experience in the industrial sector, combining technical and managerial skills. He has spent most of his career in management positions in steel companies. For several years, he served as the Vice – President of SIDMA S.A.. During his career, he has successfully managed demanding projects, negotiations, and crises. Mr. Benardout holds an MBA from the Athens University of Economics and Business.

Mrs. Athanassiou is a successful executive with a long and accomplished career. She was previously the CEO of Unilever Greece, where she achieved great success in transforming both the product sectors and talent recruitment strategies. Mrs. Athanasiou has also served as a Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors in large companies and institutions and mentored start-ups.

Mr. Brilakis served as a member of the Board of Directors and the Audit and Risk Committee of Attica Bank and he also held senior positions in Eurobank’s Internal Audit. He gained over 23 years of technical and management experience in risk assurance and IT engineering. Prior to this, he had held roles of responsibility in various corporate positions in both America and Greece.
