New Chairman of the Board of Directors

The Supervisory Board (SB) of the Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations (HCAP) during its meeting on 23rd of February 2024, decided unanimously to select Mr. Stefanos Theodorides as new, independent, non-executive Μember of the Board of Directors of HCAP for a four-year term and to appoint him as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Stefanos Theodorides will replace Mr. Konstantinos Derdemezis whose tenure ends on 1st of March 2024.

The members of the SB would like to express their sincere thanks to the outgoing Chairman who served in that position since 16 February 2021. His contribution to HCAP and his commitment to both the organization and his role are deeply appreciated. The members of the SB would like to wish him every success in his future professional endeavors.

Brief CV of the new Board Chairman

Mr. Stefanos Theodorides is an experienced professional executive with a 40-year career, 30 of which serving in top management positions. From 2012 to the end of 2023, he served as the Managing Director of TEMES SA, one of the biggest hospitality and real estate developers in Southeastern Europe. Prior to that, between 2006 and 2011, he was the Chief Executive Officer in Regency Entertainment SA. Prior to Recency Entertainment, Mr. Theodorides was Regional Managing Director at Southeast Europe of DIAGEO SA, the Global Leader of Premium Alcoholic Beverages, covering 18 countries. Mr. Theodorides has also chaired or participated in various Boards either with an executive or non-executive function, in Greece and abroad and served as a Board member in the Boards of PPC, Giochi Preziosi SA and IOBE.

Mr. Stefanos Theodorides holds a BSc degree in Mathematics from the University of Athens and has attended Executive Development Programs in the London Business School and INSEAD Business School.
