The Corporate Governance Council (CGC) of Growthfund (Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations S.A.), according to its mandate, has taken on February 11th, 2025, a decision regarding the appointment of Growthfund’s BoD Second Executive Member, who will take over the functions and operations described in the relevant law, the organizational chart and the internal rules of the company. The CGC has selected Mr. Panagiotis Stampoulidis for a four-year term commencing on February 17th 2025.
This decision is the outcome of the open process for the renewal or replacement of the Second Executive member launched with the request for candidates made public on 11th of December 2024.
The CGC strongly believes Mr. Stampoulidis has the requested and needed experience to serve in this position as a former HRADF executive and Head of the Project Preparation Facility (PPF). He is expected to contribute alongside the new CEO, to the transformation and performance agenda of the Growthfund after its merger, particularly with HRADF. The new management is called upon to implement the Strategic Plan submitted by the Board of Directors of the company to the Greek Government in November 2024 and approved accordingly. The CGC is of the opinion that Mr. Stampoulidis’ proven record, commitment and hard work will enhance the capabilities of Growthfund to deliver in terms of value creation and contribution to growth in Greece.
Mr. Stampoulidis has served as Executive Director of HRADF heading PPF (2021- present); Interim Chief Executive Officer Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (2021); Secretary General for Trade and Consumer Protection (2019-2021); COO Garnet Mediterranean Project SA (2018-2019), Group Director of Business Development, Megas Yeeros LLC (2016-2019); Chief Executive Officer CMFO SA (2011-2016); Food scientist consultant in several companies (2011-2016). Additionally, he served as a Board member of HRADF, Thessaloniki Port Authority (Audit committee member), Alexandroupolis Port Authority.
