The capabilities of 5G will help modernise businesses and increase their competitiveness, enabling easier management of their data, while it will also significantly improve services and infrastructure, e.g., through the use of robotic devices in large logistics infrastructures

A country’s infrastructure plays an important role in the creation of a modern and dynamically growing economy. 5G is not just a new technology in the mobile telephony field. It is a critical infrastructure that will significantly affect a number of sectors and services provided through its networks.

The capabilities of 5G will help modernise businesses and increase their competitiveness, enabling easier management of their data, while it will also significantly improve services and infrastructure, e.g. through the use of robotic devices in large logistics infrastructures etc. It will also greatly improve the possibilities of the services offered to the citizen, by providing unlimited choice between highly innovative applications. Equally importantly, it can very well support equality in mobility and accessibility for people with impaired mobility, through special applications.

The “Phaistos” Fund, with a very strong team, will invest in businesses conducting research and/or developing products and services operating on 5G infrastructures, indicatively in the sectors of transport & logistics, processing, manufacturing, tourism, healthcare, information technologies, media and utilities. Our only aim is to utilise every last Euro from the available resources, since every single Euro will return to the national economy many times over.

As HCAP, we have one more responsibility: to help the companies in our portfolio that are active in critical sectors of the economy to integrate 5G in their daily operation, so that they can modernise the electricity and water networks, public transport, as well as all aspects of their operation. In this way, we believe that they will become more efficient and citizen-friendly. Because, eventually, the ultimate goal of us all is to provide better, modern and friendly services to the public and we will make every effort to achieve this.

THE CAPABILITIES OF 5G WILL HELP MODERNISE BUSINESSES AND INCREASE THEIR COMPETITIVENESS, ENABLING EASIER MANAGEMENT OF THEIR DATA, WHILE IT WILL ALSO SIGNIFICANTLY IMPROVE SERVICES AND INFRASTRUCTURE, E.G. THROUGH THE USE OF ROBOTIC DEVICES IN LARGE LOGISTICS INFRASTRUCTURES ETC.
