Innovation in the Public Sector Companies by Growthfund: For the first time, all subsidiaries within its portfolio are publishing Sustainability Reports
The reports were prepared in reference to international standards for non-financial disclosure and reflect how Growthfund’s subsidiaries meet the requirements for integrating ESG criteria into their daily operations
In line with its strategic priority to foster Sustainable Development and integrate ESG criteria across its portfolio, Growthfund has coordinated the preparation of Sustainability Reports for the year 2022 at a group level. For the first time, all subsidiaries have completed and published Sustainability Reports.
This marks a significant innovation for State-Owned Enterprises, as until now, Growthfund subsidiaries primarily published financial reports. The successful collaboration and teamwork across different departments within each subsidiary facilitated the formation of new working groups on ESG matters, aimed at gathering the necessary data.
The Sustainability Reports were drafted in reference to international sustainability standards such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD recommendations. Notably, the companies conducted Materiality Assessments and, where applicable, Double Materiality Surveys to identify the ESG issues that are most significant to their stakeholders. Consequently, the reports compile essential quantitative data and document the subsidiaries’ initiatives in areas where they are called to contribute effectively to sustainable development.
