Five (5) investor schemes express interest in the tender for the development of the former Tatoi royal estate

Athens, 2 March 2026

Growthfund announces that five (5) investor schemes have expressed interest in the tender for a concession to reuse, develop, restore and operate buildings and grounds within the former royal estate of Tatoi.

The following parties expressed interest (in alphabetical order):

1. AKTOR CONCESSIONS S.A.
2. DIMAND S.A.
3. EKTER S.A.
4. ELIA CORPORATION S.A.
5. REINA HELLENIC PROPERTIES CAPITAL PARTNERS LTD.

Following the evaluation of the expressions of interest submitted in Phase A, candidates meeting the pre-qualification criteria will be invited to take part in Phase B of the tender, in which they will submit binding offers.

Growthfund’s Project Preparation Facility (PPF) has prepared and is conducting the tender as Contracting Authority on behalf of the Ministry of Culture.

The concession covers 24 buildings and their surrounding grounds within the historic site of the former Tatoi royal estate, with an emphasis on protecting the natural environment and preserving the site’s monumental character. Proposed uses include hospitality/hotels, restaurants, a greenhouse, a winery and other low-impact activities. Farmland may also be included, with the aim of reviving the estate’s agricultural character – for example, by restoring the vineyard and olive grove – in harmony with its natural environment and historic identity.

The concession will run for at least sixty-five (65) years. Its exact duration and terms will be specified in Phase B of the tender.
