Focusing on Investment Partnerships as a Catalyst for National Growth

Following the success of the 1st Growthfund Summit in December 2023, Growthfund, Greece’s National Investment Fund, announces the 2nd Growthfund Summit, which will take place on December 4, 2024, at Zappeion Megaron under the central theme: “Investment Partnerships: A Catalyst for National Growth.”

Growthfund brings together government officials, public and private sector representatives, and experts to discuss and explore the challenges and opportunities posed by the national and international economic environment. Particular emphasis will be placed on collaboration prospects that will shape the investment landscape in the coming years, with the ultimate goal of strengthening the Greek economy.

The keynote address at the 2nd Growthfund Summit will be delivered by the Minister of National Economy and Finance, Kostis Hatzidakis. The Summit will also feature Fireside Chats with distinguished speakers, including Lord Francis Maude, Chairman of FMA (UK), and Giovanni Sandri, Head of Southern Europe at BlackRock.

Key discussions during the event will focus on Growthfund’s 2025-2027 Strategic Plan, the launch of Growthfund’s new investment fund as a subsidiary, major reform projects and strategic investments in infrastructure, energy, and the green economy. Additionally, the discussions will address the role of capital markets and the financial system, the importance of regional development as a cornerstone of economic resilience, and the challenges and opportunities presented by the green transition and artificial intelligence.
