Asani Building: HPPC utilizes Corfu’s Iconic Landmark

The Hellenic Public Properties Company (HPPC) SA, a Growthfund subsidiary, announces the launch of an open electronic competitive bidding process (e-auction) for the lease of public property ID (ABK) 534 534, located in Corfu (Asani Building). The property has a total leasable area of 867.4 sq.m.

Located in the Old Town of Corfu, adjacent to the historic Town Hall (San Giacomo Theatre), the Asani Building is part of a monumental architectural ensemble of exceptional cultural and historical significance, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The building’s distinctive Venetian architecture embodies Corfu’s aristocratic and cosmopolitan heritage, which urgently requires restoration to secure its preservation and revitalization.

Therefore, HPPC S.A. invites investors to capitalize on the exceptional architectural heritage and strategic location of the Asani Building through various development opportunities.

The lease term is set at 30 years, with an optional 10-year extension, as specified in the tender, aiming for the optimal utilization and promotion of the property for all permissible uses.
